Be on guard
No matter how powerful and famous you think of yourself is, you can never stop what other people think, say and do against you.
In the last 5 weeks of discussion in this course, we talked about the authority of the Roman Catholic Christianity and how superior they are compared to other religions. This week's discussion allows me to learn that in spite of the superiority of the Roman Catholics, they still could not stop other religions from opposing them. Another thing I've learned also is that any claim even though it is insisted as biblical but did not interpret it correctly will never stand firm. That is what happened to the Roman Authority, their claim did not fit to the correct interpretation of their basis.
Regarding with the new insights I gained and learned, the things that I need to do is first, to have the will to be courageous in defending what I believe in against oppositions. Oppositions will really come whether we like it or not. It's not that healthy also if we just ignore it. I have to be ready and be prepared always in season and out of season. The second thing that I need to do is to examine carefully what I believe in and my stand whether it is in the theologically and biblically sound or if there’s anything that can affect myself and other people. I need to be sure that everything should not only comes from my own understanding but rather it is really what the Word of God says.
To put all of these into practice, I should first evaluate myself always. I need to be honest not just to others but more importantly to God and to myself because there are tendencies that Satan will blind us from the truth to the point that we will deceive ourselves. Also, I need to seek God's will and guidance everyday that I may not be able to turn in my own way.

These issues in life are inevitable. It may come any time. And so the best thing to do is be on guard and alert always.
